Jim Durham --
The heart of Education Plus, Jim has worked for several child and youth oriented organizations, including Barrio La Planta Project in Nicaragua, TeethSavers International, Pace Center for Girls Florida, and Babies in Need. He was formerly a Case Manager for Covenant House Florida, where he received hundreds of hours of social work training and spent several years counseling at-risk children and their families. Jim considers his work with Education Plus to be his calling. He feels humbled and privileged to serve these special children and is dedicated to their future success.

Monica Loveley --
A dynamic leader with extensive international experience, Monica’s passion is human rights, especially a child’s right to education. With over seven years’ experience in non-profit management and international organizations, she is skilled in managing projects, mobilizing manpower, and achieving results in challenging environments. Past organizations she has worked for include the United Nations Office of Disarmament Affairs, the United Nations Institute of Training and Research, Action Against Hunger, McKinsey and Company, and the Weidemann Foundation. She holds a Masters in Global and International Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and a Bachelors from The College of William and Mary.
Today Monica is charged with overseeing operations, strategic development, fundraising, media, communications, and partnerships. She is a hands on type of leader and can be found several days a week working with the children at the school.
