Karen Fabiola Argüello (San Marcos, Carazo-1975): Bachelor of Education and Humanities specialized in French (UNAN-Managua, 1997). Since August 2012, she has served as the Educational Program Assistant for GOCARE Nicaragua. She has previously worked as an Assistant Press Coordinator for the French Embassy (2000) and was also a translator (1998). In 1999, Karen worked at Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Nicaragua as French teacher (UNAN-Managua). Early in 2003, she was responsible for the department of culture in France Alliance (Managua). From October 2011 to May 2012, Karen worked as Customer Service in Nortchech and was a Language Instructor for Academia Europea (2010-2012).

Franklin Carter Gómez (February 12, 1977). Franklin is GOCARE’s Director of Education. He graduated from the Universidad Católica (UNICA) with a Teaching Degree in School Administration as well as a Psychology Degree with a specialization in Cognitive Behavior Techniques. He has 10 years experience teaching research methodology.
General Operations Manager/Legal - Nicaragua
Indiana Altamirano Davila (León, Nicaragua-1984): Lawyer registered by the Supreme Court of Nicaragua with license N° 17913. Master in Statute Law (2012). Since 2011, Indiana has served as the Legal Adviser and Business Manager for GOCARE, Nicaragua. From 2009 to 2011, she was Legal Officer at the Millennium Challenge Account (MCA-Nicaragua). In 2002-2003, Indiana was a Rotary Exchange Student sponsored by the Ventura East Rotary Club. She was a professor of English in American Nicaraguan School (ANS 2003-2011). She worked as a translator in Housing Projects (León, 2005) and served as legal counsel in civil, criminal and labor areas as part of her professional practices in the student firm “Bernardino Díaz Ochoa” at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Law (UNAN-León, 2007). She completed courses on Constitutional Law (UNAN-León) and Corporate Law (Faculty of Social Sciences and Law, 2008). She graduated and presented her research (monograph) “Analysis of Specialized Criminal Justice based on Childhood and Adolescence Code of Nicaragua from its effective date to the present” (2008).
Executive Director - Nicaragua
Jeannette Pérez Stevens (Managua, Nicaragua-1979): Bachelor in Banking and Finance (UNAN-Managua, 2002). Post Graduate Work in Social Project Management (UPOLI 2012). Jeannette has been the Executive Director for GOCARE Nicaragua since 2006 and is also a member of the Rotary Club of Managua. She has taken a variety of courses such as Accounting (2011); Advanced Reading, Writing and Conversation in English (2011); and Graphic Design (2009). Early in her career she worked as an Administrative Assistant in Metro Asociados.
